Senuba Melody

SENUBA MELODY: represents a group of artists who perform storytelling with music and dance, weaving cultural traditions from both Senegal and Cuba, hence the name - SEN-UBA!

SENUBA MELODY has performed for schools, festivals and community events, specializing in stories derived from Africa and the Caribbean! but also utilizing selected folktales from around the world. They have performed at The World Trade Center. The PNC Bank African American Heritage Festival, Monmouth County Park Festival, The Oceans of Rhythm Festivals and various other venues. Basha Alade is one of the storytellers who performs with other artists.
